Ronny Edward Collins, 51, of 113 Roper Street, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Rev. James E. and Jonnie Holder Collins, Mr. Collins was a self-employed carpenter and was of Baptist faith. He was also an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Connie Sanders Collins of the home; four sons, Derrick Collins (Crystal) of Lexington, Darren Collins (Candice), Wayne Roper (Marisa), and Ethan Collins (Jenilee), all of Easley; one brother, Rex Collins (Cathy) of Easley; two sisters, Lynn Kay, of Easley, Denise Harris (Gene), of Belton; and five grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Collins was predeceased by a brother, Randy Collins.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Chapel of Reflection-Mausoleum, Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Tommy Hayes officiating.
The family is at the residence.
