Rosa A. Chavez

Rosa Angelica Chavez, 68, of Easley, died Thursday July 16, 2009 at her home.
Miss Chavez was born in Riobamba, Ecuador, a daughter of the late Lorenzo and Zoila Chavez Salazar. She was the owner of Mastan Corporation, Mastan International and Mastan Europe and a Roman Catholic.
Surviving are two sisters, Elba de Moreno and Lola de Lucio, both of Ecuador ; a cousin, Mary and Armando, of New York, N.Y. and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Jorge Chavez and Pepe Chavez and a sister, Ines de Fiallos.
Memorial Services will be 4:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.

Her family wishes to express their appreciation for the friendship, help and love lent to Rosa during her stay in South Carolina. Our deepest thoughts to Reuben Davis, Jackie, Mike, Max and Sam Forst, Phyllis and Rusty Irons, Gale and Ken Moore, Joan Adams, Loretta Crumby, Patrick and Monica Gramblin, Gene and Joyce Eckford, Pam and Grif Griffith and all her wonderful neighbors at Westchester. We also thank Danny and Sharon Lollis, Wendell and Margaret Davis, Mary Crow, Nancy Cramer, Mario Miranda and family, Mary Lou Ellenburg and Vione Hull.All our love to Cecilia Luey, her dear friend in Ecuador. Our love to all the other people throughout the years that have known and loved Rosa. A special thanks to our family members, Silvia Enisa de Barreiro, Mary and Armando Samaniego who were able to be with Rosa in her time of need.
We also thank Doctors Kendrick, Cheek and Natarajan for their experience and care as well as the other Doctors and Nurses at St. Francis Hospital that were kind enough to give their help and consideration. Many thanks to Interim Hospice, especially Gloria Moore, Katherine Duvall, Cindy Haynes, Melissa Poole and Angela for assistance in the home.
Finally, appreciation and love to Rosa's faithful companions, Nicholas and Sammy.
