Rosa Lee Bearden Lyda, 89, passed away Monday, September 10, 2012.

Born in Pickens County, she was the wife of the late Clarence R. Lyda and daughter of the late Cole and Minnie Moore Bearden. She was retired from Cannon Mills in Central and a member of Refuge Baptist Church.

Surviving is a son, Ronald D. (Monk) Lyda and his wife, Wanda of Central; a brother Pete Bearden of Anderson; two sisters Edna Black of Liberty and Helen Samples of Greenville; daughter-in-law, Nancy Lyda of Central; two grandchildren, Amanda Stamper and Brandon Lyda; four great-grandchildren Makenna Stamper and Abby Lyda and Becca and Gracie Lusk.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by two sons, Ricky and Randy Lyda.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on Wednesday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Thursday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

The family will be at the home of Ronald and Wanda Lyda, 306 Pike Road, Central SC 29630.
