Rosalie Tella Brown, 76, of Easley, wife of the late John Delmar Brown, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born in Providence, RI, a daughter of the late Carmine Thomas and Helen Veronica Clavin Tella, Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith. She had been a permenant vendor at the Anderson Jockey Lot for over the past seven years. Mrs. Brown also loved Clemson Football, the Boston Red Sox and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Lynn Russell (Carl Spencer) of Easley; a sister, Joyce Blackston (Alfred Zator) of Easley; a brother-in-law and sister-in law, Donald and Pat Brown of CA; and a niece, Kim Costella of CA, three nephews, Donald Brown, Jr., of CA, Eric Blackston of FL and Ryan Blackston of Easley; and a special niece, Julia Blackston of Easley. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Brown was predeceased by a grandson, Jon James Russell.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.
