Rose Mary Perkins

Rose Mary Perkins 64, of Greenville, wife of Gene Taylor, passed away on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at her home.

Born in Arlington County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Albert Gill, Sr., and Mary Lou Stafford Gill. Rose was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She was an excellent cook and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her husband of 28 years, she is survived by her three children, Eric Manley, Chris Manley (Heather), and Melissa Ewing; four siblings, Albert Gill, Jr., Jerry Gill, Lena Browning, and Robin Radford; six grandchildren, Austin Manley, Ashton Long (Wren), Gabby Manley, Alexis Manley, Amber Burke, and Aaron Ewing; and one great-grandchild, Natilee Long.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two siblings, Roy Gill and Linda Lloyd.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date.
