Rose Emma Goodlett Reid, 85, of 611 A, Belmina Street and widow of Percell Reid, died Friday, December 16, 2011 at the home.
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Mary Goodlett. Rose was a retired food server at Harcombe Commons at Clemson University. She was a member of Golden View Baptist Church and served on the Usher board for many years.
Surviving are a son, Robert Percell Reid of Clemson; daughters Mary Ann Reid of Cheraw, SC and Carolina Jackson of Pendleton; brother Hack Garrison of Pendleton; a sister, Roseanna Scott of Pendleton; grandchildren Kimberly Jackson, Wendy Jackson, Joseph Reid, Donita Worden and Josephus Freeman, Jr.; and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Rose was predeceased by three daughters Lula Freeman, Jane Hunter Reid and Marilyn Reid; and a grandson, Reginald Jackson.
Funeral services will be 2 PM, Wednesday at Golden View Baptist Church in Clemson with burial to follow in Memory Gardens, Clemson.
The family will be at the home.
