Rosemary Hutchins Hayes, 87, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on
November 9, 2025. Born on June 19, 1938, to Ernest and Lorene Hutchins, Rosemary was a
devoted daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose warmth and
generosity touched countless lives.
Rosemary is survived by her loving sister, Cheryle Takacs and her husband Ted; her three
cherished daughters, Christine Hayes White and husband John, Kerry Hayes, and Kelly Hayes
Disbrow and husband Chris; her four beloved grandsons, Finn Disbrow, Simms Disbrow and his
wife Kenlee, Grey Disbrow, and Tate Disbrow; and her great-grandson, Hayes Disbrow.
For decades, Rosemary made Greenville her home and built a successful career as a real
estate agent, known for her integrity, keen insight, and genuine care for every client she served.
Yet her proudest role was always that of mother and grandmother. She poured boundless love
into her daughters and delighted in watching her grandsons and great-grandson grow, never
missing a chance to celebrate their milestones and was always excited to attend one of their
many sporting events.
A faithful member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Rosemary joyfully served the congregation by
crocheting beautiful baby blankets for young families, wrapping each new life in her prayers and
handiwork.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life service honoring Rosemary on Sunday,
December 14, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Greenville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Paul’s Anglican Church or a
charity close to your heart, in keeping with Rosemary’s generous spirit.
Rosemary will be deeply missed, yet her love, laughter, and legacy of kindness live on in all who
were blessed to know her.
