Roy Arthur Campbell, 84, of 1411 Cedar Rock Church Road, passed away Monday, January 13, 2014 at his home.

Born in Anderson County, a son of the late William Furman and Sallie Watson Campbell, Mr. Campbell was a construction supervisor with US Shelter and later with York Construction Company. He was a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church where he was formerly chairman of the deacons and a member of the Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Campbell was a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Frances Dunn Campbell of the home; two daughters, Kay Campbell Henson (Curtis Wilton) of Pisgah Forest, NC and Royce Campbell Howard of Easley; a sister, Jean Campbell Vinson of Easley; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was predeceased by two brothers, James E. Campbell and W. Dwight Campbell and by two sisters, Gladys C. Limbaugh and Helen C. Powell.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Wednesday at Cedar Rock Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1:30 until 2:45 PM Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.

The family is at the residence.
