Roy H. France, 81, of 334 West Main St., died Friday, November 30, 2007 at Palmetto Health Baptist Hospital Easley.
Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late W. Roy and Ruth P. France of Spartanburg. Most of his working career was spent with Milliken and Co. He was a member of Grace Methodist Church of Pickens.
Surviving are his wife, Edith L. France of the home; daughter, Martha F. Robbins of Rock Hill; sons, Roy L. France of Seneca and Mark H. France of Six Mile; sister, Dorothy Newcomer of Spartanburg; and grandsons William Bradford and Matthew Roy Blackston. He was predeceased by his first wife, Betty Blackwood France.
Graveside services are 3pm, Sunday, December 2 at Old Stone Church cemetery, Clemson, SC by Reverend Steve Holler. Visitation will be immediately after church Sunday at Grace Methodist in Pickens and at graveside after burial. The family suggests that memorials may be made to Grace Methodist Church, PO Box 996, Pickens, SC 29671.
