Mr. Roy Milford Lowe, 81, of Greenville, loving husband of the late Bettye Martin Lowe, passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at his residence.

Roy was born in Belton, SC on October 1, 1934 to the late Roy Knox Lowe and Nancy Sarratt Lowe Picklesimer. He worked many years as a tool and dye specialist at Saco-Lowell in Easley and was of the Baptist faith. Roy loved the lake, especially fishing and boating, and loved spending time with his family, his cats and any of his animals. Roy was a U.S. Navy veteran serving during the Korean War Conflict with the Landing Ship Transportation Unit.

Mr. Lowe is survived by a daughter; Sherrie Lowe Stroud (Bobby), of High Point, NC; a son; Steve Lowe (Kathy), of Easley; ; a brother; Wayne Picklesimer of Belton; and a sister; Hilda Hunnicutt (Junior), of Jacksonville, Fla. Roy is also survived by his grandchildren; Alex Lowe, Madison Gore (Josh), Brooke Stroud Martin (Jeremy), Trey Stroud, and Sydney Stroud; and his great-grandchildren; Jade Lowe, Dillon Gore, Ryley Gore, Davis Martin and Henleigh Lowe.

In addition to his loving wife and his parents, he was preceded in death by a dear friend; Jean Penson.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 27, 2015 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Interment will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Prior to the service on Friday from 12:00 Noon until 1:45 PM.

The family is at the residence of his son, Steve; 321 Rochford Drive, Easley, SC 29642.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300 Jacksonville, Florida 32256.
