Roy B. Mousty, 91, of 211 Groton Court, died Wednesday August 22, 2007 at his home.
Born in Champaign, Illinois, he was a son of the late Elmer and Beryl Horn Mousty Miles. Mr. Mousty was a U.S. Air Force veteran of W.W. II where he served as a B-17 Pilot in the 388th Bomb Group stationed in England where he met Shirley. They were married June 22, 1946 in Watford, England. He retired from Roper Pump Company in Commerce, Georgia as a plant engineer. He was of the Presbyterian Faith.
Surviving are his wife, Shirley Hooper Mousty, of the home; a son, Keith Dobson and his wife, Teddi, of Little River, SC; a daughter, Sandra Renzema and her husband, Dwight, of Easley; a brother, Robert Mousty, of Peoria, Illinois; six grandchildren, Steve Dobson, Richard Dobson, Brian Dobson, Brad Dobson, Roy Martin and Christopher Martin and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday August 28, 2007 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
Family members are at their respective homes and will receive friends Tuesday from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Richard Campbell Veterans Nursing Home, 4605 Belton Highway, Anderson, SC 29621.
