Roy Melvin Orr

Roy Orr, 71, husband of Linda Sullivan Orr, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
Born in Anderson County, a son of the late Tad Orr and the late Ruby Orr, he was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed _football, renovating and working around the house, cooking, and spending time with family. He was a cherished member of Wren Baptist Church, where he was the Senior Adult Sunday School teacher and an ordained deacon for many years. Mr. Orr Proudly served his country in the US Air Force.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are grandchildren, Jordan Orr-Massey and Jacob Orr-Massey of Piedmont.
He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter, Angela Diane Orr-Massey; seven brothers; and three sisters.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2020 at Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road, Piedmont, SC 29763.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wren Baptist Church, 120 Wren Road, Piedmont, SC 29673.
