Roy Donald Porter, 66, of Central, husband of Vickie Teat Porter, died Saturday, July 18, 2015 at his home.
Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Paul and Clara Earle Porter. Roy was a graduate of Daniel High School and a brick mason. He retired from Industry Services in Six Mile.
Surviving in addition to his wife are 3 sons, Frank McMillan of Central, Scooter (Ashley) Porter of Liberty and Zebulon (Danielle) McMillan of Greenville; 4 daughters, Cindy M. (Wes) Franks of Six Mile, Leigh McMillan of Honea Path, Leigh Richey of Clemson and Polly (Marty) Gossett of Six Mile; brother, Charles Porter of Central; 21 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by a son, Freddie McMillan; a grandson, Shaun Vaughn Franks; and a brother, Howard Porter.
Graveside services will be 10 AM, Monday in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 7:30 PM, Sunday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
The family is at the home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Foothills, OMH Foundation, 298 Memorial Drive, Seneca, SC 29671.
