Ruben Espinosa

Ruben Espinosa, 81, husband of Amparo Rodas Chaverra, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022.

Born in Jaurez, Mexico, a son of the late Jose Espinosa and the late Petra Anchondo Espinosa, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who enjoyed gardening, playing cards, playing pool, house maintenance, and spending time with his family. Mr. Espinosa retired from Chevron after more than thirty years of service as a crane operator. He was of the Christian faith.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Ruben Espinosa (Esperanza) of Easley; daughters, Carmen Telles (Rudy) of Lomita, CA and Idette De Leon of San Diego, CA; a brother, Raul Espinosa of California; sisters, Raquel Gamont and Josephina Gayton, both of California; grandchildren, Stephen Makar, Robert Makar, Noe Contreras, David Contreras, Miguel Espinosa, Jesse Espinosa, and Valentina Espinosa; and great-grandchildren, Christiano Espinosa, Josiah Espinosa, Romel Espinosa, and Henry Contreras.

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will receive friends from 1:45 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
