Ruby Crawford Barker, 85, of 6616 Hwy. 76 and wife of James R. Barker, died Monday, October 2, 2006 at the Hospice House of Anderson. She was the daughter of the late W. A. and Lena Honea Crawford. She was a member of the LaFrance First Baptist Church where she was active in the WMU and the Winsome S.S. Class. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband she is survived by a daughter: Linda B. Bridges and her husband, Larry, of LaFrance; a brother: Larry Crawford and his wife Margaret of Westminster; two grandchildren: Jonathan Bridges and his wife Bridget of Clemson and Kathy Nash and her husband Chris of Central and four great-grandchildren: Haley and Ryan Nash and Hunter and Emma Bridges. She was predeceased by her brothers: Otis, Wallace and R.C. Crawford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at the LaFrance First Baptist Church with burial in the Earl's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 2:45pm prior to the service.
If lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621 or to the charity of one's choice. The family is at the residence, 6616 Hwy. 76, LaFrance.
