Ruby Greer Blanchard, 79, of 332 Mossie Smith Road, died Sunday, November 26, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greer, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Lou Annie Burnett Greer. Mrs. Blanchard retired from Morris Communication where she worked as a dispatcher, and attended Victory Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Daniel L. Blanchard of Easley; and two granddaughters, Danielle Carlisle and Kristen Elizabeth Blanchard. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lewis L. Blanchard; a son, David Lewis Blanchard; and a brother, Leroy Greer.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Reverend Michael Mohler officiating. Burial will follow in Milford Church Cemetery in Taylors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
