Ruby Robinson Gilstrap, 95, of 228 Noble Road, died Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at Palmetto Health Baptist Easley.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late William Robert and Jessie Breazeale Robinson. She was retired from Swirl, Inc. and a member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church, where she taught the "Mrs Ruby" Sunday School for thirty eight years.
Mrs. Gilstrap is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Benson Gilstrap; five brothers, Louie, James, Ernest, Charlie and R.C. Robinson and a sister, Hazel Bagwell.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown, officiated by Rev. Bobby Caldwell. Burial will follow in at Pickens View Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Family members are at their respective homes.
