Ruby Christine Esuary Nabors, 99, wife of the late Fred Esuary, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2020.

Born in Conestee, she was the daughter of the late Emma Elgin and John Anderson Leopard.

Ruby loved quilting, fishing, and cooking for her loving family. She attended Lakeview Baptist Church.

Ruby is survived by a son, Samuel Esuary, of Pickens; seven grandchildren, Michael Esuary (Wendy), Cynthia Turner, Mark Karr, Chris Karr (Stephanie), Phil Crenshaw, Charity Neal (Robbie), and Lorraine Wilson (Skip); 15 great grandchildren, Amanda Owens (Jeff), Corey Esuary (Candice), Emily Sanders (Ryan), Caleb Esuary (Caroline), Brittany Grubbs, Kim Leopard (Eric), Kayla Turner (Brad), Joseph Karr, Hannah Karr (Hagan), Christopher Karr, Christen Karr, Jessica Wells, Bradley Lawson, Dana Neal, and Somer Vaughn (Cody); 17 great-great grandchildren, Ansley Owens, Ford Sanders, Calhoun Esuary, Lauren Esuary, Lilly Grubbs, Payton Leopard, Adalynn Leopard, Jackson Leopard, Caleb Dover, Max Karr, Chase Crenshaw, Addy Crenshaw, Zoe Parham, Skylur Vaughn, Collin Vaughn, Brinley Vaughn, and Kali Vaughn; and her faithful and loving, long term caregiver, Tammy Ferguson.

In addition to her loving husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Joann Karr and Mary Sue Crenshaw; a granddaughter, Beverly Esuary; and a great grandson, Chad Crenshaw.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at Lakeview Baptist Church in Pickens. Burial will follow in Pickens View Wesleyan Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the church.
