Ruby Ellison Sheriff, 85, of 140 Ruby Drive, died Sunday, October 12, 2008.
Born in Pickens, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Roy and Lillie Collins Ellison. She was a member of Croswell Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William Morgan Sheriff of the home; a son, W. Morgan Sheriff and his wife Imogene of Easley; daughters, June Shults and her husband Bob of Cosby, Tenn and Jean Arflin and her husband Orbie of Anderson; sisters, Polly Morgan of Charlotte and Ernestine Fortner of Easley; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Homer Charles Ellison, Van Eugene Ellison and Grady Horace Ellison and one grandchild.
Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home Chapel-Downtown, burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to service
