Rufus Wade Durham, 53, of 113 Rolling Oak Drive, Easley, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home.
Born April 9, 1968 in Easley, South Carolina to Rufus and Sandra Durham, Wade was predeceased by his father and a special cousin, Ronald Durham. Graduating from Easley High School in 1986, he attended University of South Carolina Upstate directly after high school where he was an active member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
Wade joined the US Navy Reserves, where he was assigned to the Seabees unit, in 1989. He served active duty during Desert Shield and Storm in 1990 to 1991, before being honorably discharged in 1996.
Wade was a member of Providence Presbyterian Church in Powdersville and was employed as Regional Sales Manager at Scansource in Greenville.
The joy of his heart was his two daughters, Aspen and Reagan Durham, who survive him. He is also survived by his mother, Sandra Durham Stegbauer of Columbia; a sister, Cyndi Durham Strawhorn (Bobby) of Clinton; and four nephews, Cameron Wohlever and Bryce Karlek of Laurens and Drake and Adam Karlek of Clinton; and a friend, Tyra Carmon of Easley.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family respectfully requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the trust account set up for Reagan's college education c/o Law Offices of Dan Hunt, 502 North "A" Street, Easley, SC 29640.
