Russell "Rusty" Baird Rice

Russell "Rusty" Baird Rice, 59, husband of Tammy Griffin Rice, of Easley, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2024.

Born in Mobile, AL, he was a son of the late Harold and Ruth Abercrombie Rice.

He was the owner and operator of Accurate Drilling and Blasting for many years. Rusty loved to spend time with and cook for his family and grandchildren, and was also an avid outdoorsman, spending time hunting and fishing. He was a member of The Neighborhood Church.

In addition to his wife of 33 years, Rusty is survived by his sons, Rowdy Rice (Emilee Ramey), Griffin Rice, and Bailey Rice, all of Easley; his brothers, Doug Rice and Randy Rice (Dianne), both of Easley; a sister, Linda Rice of Easley; grandchildren, Allie, Caleb, and Clay Rice; niece and nephews, Nathan, BJ, and Jenna Rice; and a special friend, Johnny Smith.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
