Mrs. Ruth Elizabeth Bagwell Bolding, 96, wife of the late James Wyatt "Jim" Bolding, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home.
Born in Easley, a daughter of the late Joseph Seaborn Bagwell and the late Janie Inez Cantrell Bagwell, Mrs. Bolding was a graduate of Easley High School and attended Draughon's Business College. She was a former secretary at Retail Credit Co., a homemaker and a member of Mountain View Baptist Church, Six Mile.
Ruth loved gardening, crafts, and making porcelain dolls, but her greatest love was for her family, and being a faithful and supportive wife to her late husband, Jim.
Surviving are a sister, Nelle Bagwell Taylor of Greer; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Bolding was predeceased by five brothers, Edward Davis, Joseph, Austin, John and Dean Bagwell; two sisters, Emily Sue Gilstrap and Evelyn B. Williams; and two sisters-in-law, Lillian Crenshaw and Kathleen Byrd.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 24, 2021 at Mountain View Baptist Church, Six Mile. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the church, prior to the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
