Ruth Imogene Nunn Burrell, 84, of Magnolia Manor, wife of the late Benjamin Lee Burrell, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Thursday, February 16, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital Downtown.
Born in Aiken County, SC, Mrs. Burrell was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Cooper Nunn. She retired from Union Carbide and was a Nursing Assistant at Lyla Doyle Nursing Home and a member of West Gantt Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Alice Owens of Easley; a sister, Norma Sweatman; a brother, Albert O�??Neal Nunn of Piedmont; three grandchildren, Rick Chapman (Maria), Tommy Owens (Wendy), Carl Owens (Amy); four great-grandchildren, Jacob Owens, Steven Lanford, Amelia and Caleb Owens.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Burrell was predeceased by a daughter, Vivian Spivey.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Carl and Amy Owens, 514 Clarendon Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Magnolia Manor Activities Department, 411 Ansel St., Greenville, SC 29601.
