Ruth Robinson Crawford, 87, of 216 Crest Way, and wife of the late James Walter Crawford, passed away Wednesday September 10, 2014 at her home.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Marietta, SC to the late Andrew Shed and Nancy Purcell Robinson. She worked in textiles all of her life and was very creative with crocheting, faithful in reading her Bible and possessed a humble and simple spirit. She was a Christian.
Surviving are two brothers, Jim Robinson, of Easley, SC and Kenneth Robinson, of Boone, NC; two sisters, Martha Malek (Joseph) and Rachel Looper, all of Easley, SC; a niece with whom she made her home, Beverly Malek, of Easley, SC.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Saturday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Family members are at their respective homes.
