Ruth Posey Graham, 78, wife of the late Walter Carolton Graham, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at her home in Easley, SC.
Born in Titusville, FL, to the late James and Rosa Wehunt Posey, Ruth worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a deliverer. Whether she was sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, making handmade dolls, or decorating cakes, Mrs. Graham loved creating things with her hands. If she wasn't creating, then she could be found reading. She was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Auxiliary, and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by two daughters, Gayle Anne Graham of Fletcher, NC, and Florence Rose Graham of Travelers Rest, SC; two brothers, William Posey of Oconee, FL, and Howard Raynor of Hamilton, AL; and a nephew, James B. Posey of South Florida.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, James W. Posey.
A private memorial service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Seniors Unlimited, 401 Blair Street, Easley, SC 29640.
The family is at the home.
