Mrs. Ruth Thompson Johnston, 92, the widow of both Bill Thompson and Bill Johnston died Saturday June 3, 2006.
Mrs. Johnston, a native of New Hampshire was a daughter of the late Guy and Blanche Hawkins Huckins. She enjoyed sewing and was an active member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley.
Survivors are one son William Thompson and his wife Sally of Pickens; one daughter Beverly Corliss and her husband Al of Haines City, FL; one brother; three sisters; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens at 11:00 Wednesday June 7, 2006. The Reverend Dr. Raymon Longenecker will officiate.
The family will receive friends at Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown from 9:00 AM until 10:30 prior to the graveside service.
The family is at the home of Cathy Brazinski, 1768 Fox Squirrel Ridge Road, Pickens.
Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown is assisting the family with arrangements.
