Mrs. Ruth Christine Whitmire Masters, 93, wife of the late Ben Walter Masters, went to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, November 25, 2018.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late David and Phebe McCall Whitmire, Mrs. Masters retired from Piedmont Shirt Company with over forty years of service and was a charter member of Westwood Baptist Church.

Surviving are one son, David Ralph Masters (Ruth) of Easley; two grandsons, Benjamin Jeremy Ryan Masters (Shannon) of Hartsville, SC, and Zachary Cheyenne Masters of Central; and one great-grandchild on the way. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Masters was predeceased by a son, Billie Ray Masters; three brothers, Elmer, Edward and D.O. Whitmire; and one sister, Ruby Stevens.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Pickens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.

The family is at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, David and Ruth Masters.
