Mrs. Ruth Hipp Nalley, 82, wife of the late Cecil Masters Nalley, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, December 27, 2021.
Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Thomas Jesse Hipp and the late Edna Hannon Hipp, Mrs. Nalley retired from U.S. Finishing and was a long-time active member of Cedar Rock Baptist Church where she served as the church organist for over fifty years. Ruth had a love and passion for music, but her greatest love was for her Lord and family. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Surviving are her son, Cecil Steven Nalley (Vanessa) of Liberty; her daughter, Rebecca Ann Lingefelt of Easley; a brother Ronny Hipp (Harriett) of Travelers Rest; a sister, Martha Freeman (Carl) of Easley; five grandchildren, Jenna L. Atkinson (Emery) of Lugoff, Nina L. Matthews (Kelvin) of Easley, Megan L. Giordani (Tony) of Greer, Jason Nalley (Tiffany) of Liberty, and Andrew Nalley of Liberty; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Nalley was predeceased by four brothers, Edgar, Kenneth, Major, and Jim Hipp; and a sister, Helen Mull.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Cedar Rock Baptist Church Cemetery.
No formal visitation is planned.
