Ruth Ann Garrick Patrick, 68, widow of Thomas Maxie Patrick died Thursday September 21, 2006 at her residence.

Born in Easley, she was a daughter of Ruth Black Garrick Adcox and the late James E. Garrick. Mrs. Patrick received a degree from Lander College and was employed with BB&T Bank until retirement in 1988. She was an avid gardener, and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church where she served as a member of the Finance Committee.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law David and Joy Patrick of Simpsonville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Riley and Judy Garrick and Jim and Evelyn Garrick, all of Easley; one sister and brother-in-law, Janie and John Day of Pickens; one step-brother and his wife Kenneth and Elaine Adcox of Easley; one step sister and her husband, Nancy and Carroll Holcombe of Anderson; one brother-in-law and his wife, Gene and Letha Patrick of Belton; one sister-in-law and her husband Sallie and Billy Stone of Piedmont; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, September 24, 2006 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown with the Reverends Jim Ed Looper and Bobby Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Saturday evening at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, 1623 Hester Store Road, Easley, SC 29640.

The family is at 11 Hardwick Drive, Greenville.
