Martha Ruthell Epps Cape, 89, of Easley, wife of the late Lonnie E. Cape, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 in Huntsville, AL.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertie Mahaffey Epps, Mrs. Cape was a long time employee of Woodside Mills and a member of Pendleton Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, James W. Cape and wife, Adelaide, of Huntsville, AL, and Stanley Cape of Easley; four grandchildren, Lucia Cape and Christopher Cape of Huntsville, AL, Karen Matheney of Madison, AL, and Aaron Cape of Asheville, NC; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday at Pendleton Street Baptist Church with Rev. Zach Shaw, Rev. Scott Willis and Rev. Keith Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 1:45 PM Friday at the church, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Pendleton Street Baptist Church, 601 South Pendleton Street, Easley, SC 29640.
