Sadie Elliott Hopkins, 86, formerly of the Willows of Easley, and wife of the late Douglas Phillip Hopkins, Sr., passed away Monday April 22, 2013 at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Hopkins was born in Statesville, NC, the daughter of the late Robert Clarence and Bertha Forsyth Elliott. She was a homemaker and a member of Easley First Baptist Church.
Surviving are her son, Phil Hopkins, Jr. and his wife, Gale, of Tryon, NC; a brother, Joseph Clarence Elliott, of Jacksonville, Florida and a sister, Elizabeth E. Hendrix, of Hendersonville, NC.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Hoyte A. Elliott, Finley Boyd Elliott and Jack Eugene Elliott and a sister, Mary Elliott Ligon.
Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Hopkins will be at 3:00 PM Tuesday at Easley First Baptist Church with the Reverend Dr. John Adams officiating. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM Tuesday, prior to the service, at the church.
