Mrs. Sarah "Sally" Elizabeth Spearman Lyman, 64, of 102 Highland Road died Friday, February 9, 2007, at her home.

Born in Easley, Mrs. Lyman was a daughter of the late David and Elizabeth Hagood Spearman. She graduated from Easley High School in 1960 and worked as a study hall teacher and receptionist at Gettys Middle School for thirty years. Mrs. Lyman was a former member of the Easley Garden Club and the Better Homes Club. She was a member of Easley Presbyterian Church and a former member of the choir.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth S. and Chris Gray of the home, and Virginia Ruth and Andrew Holliday of Whittier, CA; two brothers Dr. David Hagood (Dan) Spearman of Easley, and William B. Spearman and his wife, Fran, of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Jacob Bruce Dillon, Danielle Elizabeth Dillon, Cristian Lynn Gray, Lucas Andrew Holliday, and Jacob Andrew Holliday.

Mrs. Lyman was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Joseph Lyman; one sister, Judith Hagood Spearman; and one sister-in-law, Patsy C. Spearman.

Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Sunday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ~ Downtown with the Rev. Dr. Bill Seel officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
