Samantha Diane "Sami" Goolsby, 29, of Liberty, passed away March 17, 2021.
Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of Timothy Van Norris and Christy Chapman Brooks. Sami graduated from Pickens High School and worked at various restaurants and bars. She enjoyed music and dancing, but will be remembered most for her love of her family, especially her daughter Zoie.
She is survived by her daughter, Zoie Goolsby; husband, Chris Goolsby mother, Christy Chapman Brooks and husband Randy of Liberty; father, Timothy Van Norris and wife Lori of Travelers Rest; brothers, Devon Ray Norris, Daniel Joseph Coker and Jason Levi Coker and wife April; sister, Churistia Marie Graves; grandparents, George and Vanessa Norris, Shirley Chapman and Priscilla Chapman; mother and father-in-law, Josh and Christy Goolsby; her husband's grandparents, Ray and Becky Byrum Nieces and Nephews, Timmothy Ronald Ray Norris, Ricky Clarence Norris, Makinlei Gwen Norris, Ruby Anne Norris, Javarus Brooks, William Graves, Aiden Graves, Aubrey Graves, Jesse Coker, Jacob Coker, Destiny Coker, Dylan Coker, Aniyah Coker, Aiden Coker, Ashton Coker and J.J. Coker. Sami is also survived by several aunts, her uncle, nieces, nephews and her special friends, Kayla Brown, T.J. Harris and Breanna Medlin.
A gathering to celebrate Sami will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. at her residence, 210 Green Tree Drive, Liberty.
