Samantha Phillips Haynie

Samantha Phillips Haynie, 56, wife of Robert Haynie of Easley, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.
Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Eloise Holliday Phillips and the late Alvin "Sam" Phillips. She was of the Church of God faith.
Samantha retired as a medical assistant from Poinsett Family Practice after over 20 years of service. She loved crocheting, reading, and playing with the highlight of her life, her grandson, Clyde. She was a 16 year breast cancer survivor.
In addition to her loving husband of 31 years, she is survived by a daughter, Maggie Haynie (Thomas) of Liberty; a grandson, Clyde Haynie; a brother, Andy Phillips (Dianne) of Easley; special niece and nephews, Anna Bailey (Drew), Rev. Jessie Pate (Katie), Frankie Pate, Matthew Phillips (Allie); and great-nephew and niece, Daniel Bailey and Logan Pate.
In addition to her parents, Samantha was predeceased by a sister, Holley P. Pate; and stepmother, Mary Phillips.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 14, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Robinson Funeral Home, Downtown Chapel. The service will be conducted by Rev. Jessie Pate and music provided by Matthew Phillips.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:30 pm until 3:45 pm, Friday, January 14, 2022 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W Faris Rd, Greenville, SC 29605 or to Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at their respective homes.
