Sammie Lee Williams, 74, of Easley, South Carolina, passed on Saturday, December 6, 2025.
Born on December 27, 1950, in Gray Court, South Carolina. He was the only son of the late Jannie Mae Williams. Sammie was a caring father and grandfather. Also known as “Sergeant Williams,” he was a proud Vietnam War Veteran with many awards. After his honorable service, he continued to follow his servant's heart and dedicated many years of his life as a Greenville County Correctional Officer. Some of Sammie’s interests were psychology, martial arts, and cars. Sammie will always be remembered for his leadership, dedication, and loving spirit. He is survived by two sons, Keoma Williams (Shantel) of Lacey, Washington, Kemerro Williams of Germany; two daughters, Sancery Williams Wooten (Alexander) of Germany, Crystal Williams of Monterey, California; family member, Chantelle Williams; eight grandchildren.
In addition, Sammie is preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home -Powdersville Road.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:45 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, prior to the service.
