Samuel Bryan "Sammy" Galloway, 53, of 120 Ballentine Street and husband of Maye Sumaydeng Galloway, died Monday, March 12, 2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.

He was born in Greenville, SC, a son of Mrs. Karleen Burroughs Galloway of Easley and the late Edward Bryan Galloway.

He was the manager of Music Maker of Easley and was a member and Elder of the Adon Olam Messianic Congregation where he also played bass guitar with the Praise and Worship Team. He earned an associate degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are: a daughter, Shauna Galloway- Williams and her husband DuPre of Greenville; a sister, Joy Galloway; 2 grandchildren, Esdras Williams and Phoebe Williams; and a nephew Blake Galloway of Easley.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by maternal grandparents, George and Pauline Burroughs and paternal grandparents, G.B. and Orpha Galloway.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Messianic Rabbi Paul Cohen and Reverend Clarke Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.
