Samuel Andrew "Andy" Dickson, Jr., 46, of 153 Pine Lake Drive, husband of the late Martiza Hurtado Dickson, died Saturday, April 26 2008.
Born in Pickens County, a son of Vivian Holden Dickson of Liberty, and the late Samuel Andrew Dickson, Sr., Mr. Dickson was employed with Vulcan Materials.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two sons, Kevin Andrew Dickson of Taylors, and Nathaniel Casey Dickson; a step daughter, Nadine Hurtado of Easley; and a brother, John Dickson of Liberty. In addition to his wife and father, Mr. Dickson was predeceased by a son, Alex Taylor Dickson and by a step-daughter, Melissa Jiliam Salazar.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Andy and Taylor Dickson Memorial Fund at any SunTrust Bank.
The family is at the home of Frank and Brenda Smith, 103 James Street, Easley, SC 29642.
