Samuel “Sammy” Junior Faulkner – 89, of Easley, died December 22, 2015. Born January 20, 1926 in Greenville, South Carolina to the late Samuel S. Faulkner and Sevella Nolan Faulkner.
He attended Paris schools in Greenville and retired from J.P. Stevens Dunean Plant after 43 years of service.
Sammy served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1944.
Samuel married Hazeline Massingale November 2, 1944. He is survived by daughters, Patricia Ann Bishop, Erica Garrett (Lindsay), Elaine Freeland (Matt); 3 granddaughters, Lara Bishop, Jana Cooper, Carly Freeland; great-grandchildren, Preston and Cara Cooper; Sister, Inez Neely.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; sisters, Ruby Faulkner and Ruth Ellenburg.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, December 30th at 2:00pm at Set Free Christian Fellowship – 4415 SC-153, Easley, SC, with visitation prior to the service from 12:30pm until 1:45pm at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642. Burial will be in Robinson Memorial Gardens in Easley.
