Samuel Oran "Sambo" George, Jr., 33, of Iva, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013.
Born in Broward County, FL, a son of Ann Murphy Kilgen of Pickens, and the late Samuel O. George, Sr., Samuel was an auto mechanic and of the Baptist faith.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a son, Levi Samuel George of Ohio; a daughter, Samantha Rose George of Pickens; three brothers, Richard Kilgen of Iva, Joseph Kilgen and Robert George, both of Liberty; and a sister, Brenda Rogers of Toccoa , GA. In addition to his father, Samuel was predeceased by a sister, Wanda Gillespie.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley. Burial will follow in Flat Rock Baptist Church Cemetery, Liberty.
Visitation will from 12:30 until 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
