Samuel Ray Kelley
October 31, 1935 — October 17, 2017
Mr. Samuel Ray Kelley, 81, husband of the late Aretta Head Kelley, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Oconee County, SC, a son of the late Joseph Franklin Kelley and Ola Mae Morgan Kelley. Mr. Kelley was a veteran of the US Air Force. He worked for 30 years with Platt Saco-Lowell and retired from Hitachi. He was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda Carol Hayes and Gina Ray Kelley, of Easley; three sisters, Fay Gibson, Ruth Mauldin and Esther Kirby; two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Kelley was predeceased by seven brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 21,2017 at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 20, 2017 from 7:00pm - 8:30pm at the funeral home.
