Samuel Houston Kelly, 71, of Cherry Point Drive in Denver, NC, passed away Friday, July 13, 2018.
Mr. Kelly was born March 31, 1947 in Central SC. He was the son of the late Houston Kelly and Della Cannon Kelly. He was preceded on death by his sister, Linda Hendricks. He retired from Duke Energy after 47 years with the company.
Survivors include his wife, Marsha Hope Kelly of the home; son, Mark Oates of Denver, NC; granddaughter, Morgan Oates of Lincolnton, NC; one brother, James Henry Kelly and wife Frances of SC; sisters, Penny Smith and husband Mike, Judy Barnasky and husband Eddie all of SC, and nephew Houston Kelly.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 at 1:00 PM in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Central with Rev. Jonathan McGary officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
