Sandra Elizabeth Murdock “Sandy” Cousins, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 18,
2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC. Born on October 23, 1949, in Miami, Florida, Sandy was the daughter of the late
John Allen and Charlie Mae Hart Murdock.

Sandy began her journey in Miami and later graduated from Marathon High in the beautiful Florida Keys. She embarked on her
working career as a bank teller before transitioning to a fulfilling 28-year tenure as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Pickens County
School District. Her dedication and passion for helping students learn and grow were evident to all who knew her.

Beyond her professional life, Sandy found joy in being an active member of various groups within her community. She delighted
in participating with her “Silver Sneakers” fitness group, cherishing both the physical activity and the camaraderie it provided.
Additionally, Sandy always found solace and inspiration as a member of different Bible Study Groups. Her faith was a guiding
force in her life and she shared its warmth with those around her.

Surviving Sandy is her loving husband Floyd Cousins, who provided unwavering support throughout their journey together. The
love they shared was a testament to their commitment and devotion to one another. Also left to cherish Sandy's memory is her
daughter Kelly Elizabeth Cousins, who held a special place in Sandy's heart. Together they created unforgettable memories that
will forever be treasured.

Sandy's dear sister Debbie Bossert of Gainesville, Florida remains to honor and celebrate her memory. The bond they shared as
sisters was strong and enduring.

While Sandy's passing leaves a void in our hearts, we find solace knowing that she has been reunited with those who preceded
her in death. She is now reunited with her son James Allen Cousins, whose absence was deeply felt. Sandy was also preceded in
death by her brothers Richard Burnett Smith and John Allen Murdock Jr., as well as her sister Sue Jeannin.

A funeral service to honor Sandy's life will take place at 2 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at the chapel of Duckett-
Robinson Funeral Home in Central, SC. The Rev. James Wiggins will be officiating the service, providing comfort and words of
tribute to commemorate Sandy's remarkable life. Following the service, Sandy will be laid to rest in the peaceful surroundings of
Memory Gardens in Clemson, SC.

Prior to the funeral service, friends and loved ones are invited to gather at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremations from 1 PM to 1:50 PM on Thursday, December 21, 2023.
