Sandra "Sandy" Jane Crenshaw Davis, 73 of Easley SC, wife for 42 years of Dean Lawrence Davis, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 17th, 2024-only to awake at her eternal home in the arms of the Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Born in Greenville, SC, she was the daughter of the late Ralph William Crenshaw and Geneva Louisa Jones Crenshaw. In addition to her loving husband, surviving are her daughter Angela Kay Deloach(Terry), son James Benjamin Hawkins Jr.(Anna Derrick), and daughter Shannon Davis Williams(John Morra). Grandchildren Hersel “L.J.” Eugene Good III, Jenna Michelle Good, Kristin Noell Harbison (Bryson), Cameron Kole Williams, and Alivia Faith Hawkins. Great grandchildren Paisleigh Caroline Chapman and Kyler Mae Harbison. Brother Darrell Crenshaw (Karen), sisters Jackie Broome and Darlene Revis(William). Her four-legged sons Jake and Mason. Preceded in death were brothers Tommy Crenshaw, Steve Crenshaw, Rick Crenshaw, and sisters Ann Allen, Evelyn Allen, Ollie Jean Talley, and Geraldine Reed.
Sandy had many occupations during her life, including being a real estate broker, owner of Dash Outlet retail store in Powdersville, SC, cosmetology, working in auto parts where she met her loving husband Dean, and being a phlebotomist allowing her to work for the Blood Center, as well as St. Francis Hospital that really allowed her light to shine as she was able to care for people which was her true talent, her passion. Whether you were family, friends, co-workers, or none of the above & you were merely a stranger she had just met. If she came in contact with you and she could help you in some way, she would, and she would love it. Sandy loved working in the yard, gardening, going to yard sales & flea markets, talking about politics, watching football-especially her Clemson Tigers, painting, crafting, and if any of the above involved her children/grandchildren well, all the better. She was a member of Carolina Community Church in Liberty SC and loved to hear Preacher John Revis preach the gospel. She always taught her children to put Jesus first in their lives and everything else would fall into place the way it's meant to. Our hearts are broken, she will truly be missed but it's because of her, knowing she accepted Jesus into her heart and sharing God's love with any and everyone she knew that we know she is in heaven and we will see her again, as one day the circle will be unbroken.
