Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" Antle Martin, 69, wife of William Mack Martin, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Open Arms Hospice.
Mrs. Martin was born in Point Pleasant, West Virginia to the late Harland Elsworth and Brittie Hamilton Antle. A graduate of Bowling Green University, she was the owner and operator of Charbons Specialty Sports Store in Athens, GA, and was a member of Sardis Baptist Church where she was active in missions. Throughout the years Sandy has traveled all over the world on numerous mission trips with various organizations. Sandy also enjoyed scuba diving, skiing, traveling, and meeting new people.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Martin is survived by two sons, Todd Barber (Laly) of Nokomis, FL., and Dustan Barber (Carla) of Greer; a sister, Sue Cundiff (Will), of Hartwell, GA, and four grandchildren, Zachary, Carson, Megan, and Shelly Barber.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of Sandy Martin to Sardis Baptist Church, 4359 Anderson Highway, Hartwell, GA 30643.
The family is at their respective homes.
