Mrs. Sandra Elaine Masters, 68, of 3553 Rutherford Road, Lot 19, Taylors, loving wife of Melvin W. Masters, Jr., passed away Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Masters was born in Pickens County on December 1, 1946, to the late Bailey and Mary Etta Thomas Whitaker. She loved traveling, especially camping.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons; Ricky Masters of Greenville, Dale Masters (Angela), of Florida, and Steven Masters of Georgia, two daughters; Tracy Hays (Dorsey), of Monks Corner, and Rhonda Clawson (Shaun), of Greenville, two brothers; Robert Whitaker of North Carolina and Charles Whitaker (Brenda), of Greenville, and two sisters; Marie Garrett of Greenville and Sara Lewis of Pickens. Mrs. Masters is also survived by one granddaughter; Kayla Shelton (Travis), of Easley, and one great ? granddaughter, Chloe Shelton of Easley.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Masters was preceded in death by a son; Raymond Lee Taylor, and a brother ? in ? law; Clyde Garrett.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
The family is at the residence.
