Sara Pruitt Chastain, of 208 S. Third St., Easley, died Tuesday, March 3, at her residence.
Born in Greenville Co., she was a daughter of the late William Calvin and Ruby Thurston Pruitt. Mrs. Chastain was retired from Westpoint and a member of Edgewood Church of Christ.
Funeral services will be 1:30PM Friday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation is from 12-1:30 PM Friday.
Survivors include a son, Bill Chastain ; daughters, Nancy Youngblood , Janet Bowen and Susan King; brothers, Carl Pruitt and Vernon Pruitt ; sisters, Betty Autry and Judy Waters; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Chastain was preceded in death by her husband, William Ernest Chastain, Sr., and a son, James "Jimmy" K. Chastain.
Memorial may be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Rd., Anderson, SC 29621.
