Mrs. Sara Francis Campbell Norris, 85, wife of the late Rev. Edwin J. Norris, went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 9, 2010, at Oakmont Living Center.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Berry Edgar and Ruby Teat Campbell, Mrs. Norris retired from Playschool Baby and was a member of Enon Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Aaron Norris (Willete) of Simpsonville; two daughters, Saundra Gibson (Jimmy) of Easley and Edwina Ervin (Gary) of Simpsonville; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Norris was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with the Reverends James Ellenburg, Greg Russ, and Chaplain Brian Bailey officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
