Sara Lee Parsons, 83, of Apt. F3, 62 Plaza died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca.
Born in Easley, Sara was a daughter of the late William Asa and Betty Lee Lesley Turpin Parsons. She was a retired texile employee and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews and their families.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Andrew "Bud" Parsons; two step-brothers, J.C. Turpin and Bill Turpin; and two half sisters, Louise Bowen and Annie Mae Black.
Funeral services will be 11 AM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with Rev. Kurt McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:50 AM, Friday prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 186, Central, SC 29630.
