Sara Griffin Timms, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017.

Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Reuben F. and Iler Campbell Griffin. Sara was the widow of James B. Timms. She was preceded in death by her husbands, H. E. Dobson and Roy V. Boggs.

She is survived by a daughter, Celeste Wilson of Carrollton, TX; son, Richard E. Dobson (Sheila N. Dobson), of Easley; daughter, Salena D. Day (Robert "Bobby" Day), of Easley; and son, Alexander V. Boggs, of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren, Julie Celeste Howard (Matthew Howard); Charles Monroe Wilson, IV; Jeffrey R. Dobson (Hillary); Ashley P. Dobson; and R. Steven Day (Rachel); great grandchildren, Livian Macree and Merritt Corrine Dobson; and Jude Howard. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. (Annie) C.L. Bouchillon, of Athens, TN.

Before her health failed, Sara was a member of the Fort Prince George D.A.R., The Keowee Chapter U.D.C, The Pickens Co. Historical Society, The Pendleton District Genealogical Society, and First Baptist Church, Easley. She was Past President of the Col. John Robbins Chapter of the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century.

Private family graveside committal services will be held at Old Stone Church Cemetery, Clemson, SC.
