Sarah Ann Gunter Burgess, 83, of 1622 Gentry Memorial Highway, wife of the late Glover Burgess, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at Hospice of the Upstate.
Born in Pickens County, she was a retired employee of Swirle, Inc., and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving is a son, Donald Ray Burgess of Easley. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Jerry Glover Burgess.
Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pickens View Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown prior to the service.
